SILC and ASSOCIATION
INFORMATION
COMPENDIUM OF RESOURCES FOR
INDEPENDENT LIVING MANAGEMENT
Statewide Independent Living Councils (SILCs)
and Independent Living Associations asked the Rehabilitation
Research and Training Center on Independent Living Management (RRTC-ILM)
to gather data from SILCs and Associations. Using the SILC & Association
Independent Living Organizational Survey, information was gathered on:

- organizational structure,
- programs and services,
- staffing and salaries,
- revenues and financial sources and
- management documents
In addition to providing detailed information about their
organizations, some SILCs and Associations shared copies of their management
policies, organization charts, procedures, bylaws, job descriptions,
and forms. Confidentiality of the sources of these documents is ensured.
They are presented in their entirety with minimal editing.
