This web page was originally developed for WNYILP by a small group of researchers in the Self-Determination group at the Beach Center on Disability, at the University of Kansas. The self-determination group is under the direction of Dr. Michael L. Wehmeyer, Associate Professor and Associate Director of the Beach Center.

Debra Benitez, Ph.D., Program Coordinator was responsible for writing all web materials with the exception of one best practice.

Wendy Parent, Ph.D., Associate Director, University of Kansas Center on Developmental Disabilities in Lawrence, KS, authored the best practice module on Customized Employment.
