Personal Care Attendant Information Page


Rate of pay $10.25 per hour(Erie County)
$10.00 per hour (Niagara County)

Benefits to employees working more than 30 hours per week.

bullet pointAccumulate one sick day per quarter (every 3 months)

bullet pointAccumulate one vacation week per 52 weeks of employment.

Benefits offered to all employees:

bullet pointPaid holidays (If you work your regular shift on these days you are paid time and a half)

bullet pointHolidays include: New Years day, Martin Luther King's day, Thanksgiving day, and December 25th.

bullet pointDeath in the family: one day granted with pay for the death of a parent, grandparents, spouse, children, siblings, or other members of the extended family considered valid by your employer. Must notify your employer of the day you wish to take off.

bullet pointAflac and dental plan available at employee's cost, the agency does not contribute to these costs.

bullet pointWorker's Compensation and New York State Disability insurance.

Paychecks:

bullet pointAvailable bi-weekly on Fridays between 11 AM until 5 PM.

bullet pointMay be picked up, mailed or direct deposited into your checking or savings account.

Please keep in mind that the person who hired you and that you care for is your employer. That person will train and instruct you as to what your job duties are.


PIN Numbers
bullet pointYou will be given a PIN number to call into a phone system. This will be used in place of timesheets. Everyone must use this unless arrangements have been made and/or you are exempt from using the phone system. Your PIN is confidential and is not to be shared with anyone.
