This DVD is a one hour video taped interview with Judy Heumann. Internationally recognized leader in independent living and disability rights, Judy answers questions about the past, present and future of independent living and her personal experiences as a participant and leader in the movement. The interview took place in Judy's Washington, DC apartment soon after she left her position as the Assistant Secretary at the Office of Special Education and Research Services at the United States Department of Education.
